The first 2012 Atlantic Classical Orchestra concert features Lindsay Garritson who is fresh off a grand prize win at the 2011 Montreal International Piano Competition.  This rising star from the Treasure Coast will perform the Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2, a brilliant virtuosic piece pianists love.  

Ms. Garritson is also a first prize winner of the Chopin International Piano Competition in Salzburg (2010), and the Yale Concerto Competition.  She has performed with the Montreal Metropolitan Orchestra, The Yale Philharmonic, Principia College Orchestra, Barra Mansa Orchestra in Brazil, and the European Philharmonic Orchestra in France.  Other first prizes include 2010 Connecticut Music Teachers Young Artist Competition, 2008 Southern Illinois Young Artist Competition, 2003 Fite Family Competition, and the 2003 St. Louis Artist Presentation Society. 

The Atlantic Classical Orchestra also performs Mendelssohn's beloved Symphony No.4 "Italian," and Mozart's gallant Symphony No. 28.
